Who we are

SK TECHNOLOGY

A billion-dollar–valued French telecommunications company with registered share capital of €34,285,820 and a public filing record with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Vision & Mission

A global ambition. A practical mission.

01

Vision

Our vision is to become the world’s first fully integrated ecosystem combining equipment manufacturing, mobile operations, and digital content delivery, enabling ultra-fast go-to-market deployment of bespoke connectivity solutions for individuals and enterprises.

02

Mission

SK Technology’s mission is to bridge the digital divide by providing complete telecom ecosystems—from infrastructure to services and applications, at accessible prices. We bring reliable, high-quality connectivity to emerging markets, the Middle East, and Europe, creating sustainable digital opportunities for communities and businesses.

Who we are

A technology vision shaped by the realities of emerging markets.

SK Technology was created from a practical conviction: advanced mobile networks achieve their full value when performance, affordability and useful digital services are designed together. The company brings decades of field experience, partner technologies and disciplined programme coordination to operators seeking a faster and more sustainable route to 5G.

The founder’s journey

From the first triple-play architectures to Mobile Operator in a Box.

Innovation becomes transformative when world-class network performance is made economically accessible to the markets that need it most.

    2000

    Newbridge Networks · Triple play

Serge Khalifé began working on voice, data and video services delivered over copper pairs, at a time when bandwidth remained limited and video required considerable network capacity. This work contributed in 2003 to a pioneering triple-play experience with France Télécom in Lyon.

  2. 02
    2003+

    Mission-critical communications

He subsequently developed expertise in TETRA public-safety telecommunications, where resilience, coverage and service continuity are fundamental.

  3. 03
    Nokia

    Establishing a regional presence

Mandated by the board through a power of attorney, he established Nokia’s office in Tunisia, coordinated the teams serving Tunisia and Algeria, and helped restart commercial activity in the region.

  4. 04
    2010 · Africa & Middle East

ICS Smart Relays & wireless broadband

Confronted with the gap between advanced equipment costs and low subscriber ARPU, he introduced ICS Smart Relays with operators in North Africa and the Middle East. Outdoor systems extended coverage with NodeB-class power in suitable topologies at a fraction of the equipment cost, while indoor pico repeaters brought service into basements, parking areas and other shadow zones. This period also included work to introduce WiMAX.

    Today

    An integrated 5G proposition

KLEOS radio performance, a partner-delivered cloud core, potential roaming reach across up to 800 operators and a catalogue of applications, content and streaming services now make a rapidly deployable, operator-ready ecosystem possible.

A strategic evolution

From equipment expertise to a technology-operator role.

SK Technology is crossing a strategic Rubicon: building on its experience of high-performance network equipment to assemble an operator-grade platform of its own. The historical boundary between equipment vendor and operator is becoming increasingly fluid as operators themselves expose in-house cloud cores and services to other operators. Mobile Operator in a Box gives this convergence its full meaning.

AI-assisted design, configuration and deployment make the ecosystem faster to establish, easier to evolve and more secure. This modular foundation allows SK Technology and its operator customers to approach the transition from 5G to future 6G standards with confidence.

This strategic direction describes SK Technology’s platform and operating ambition. Any regulated operator activity remains subject to the licences and authorisations required in each jurisdiction.

Our purpose

Connectivity as an engine of local growth.

SK Technology acts as architect, integrator and programme coordinator for licensed operators while developing its own operator-grade technology platform. Mobile Operator in a Box brings the required layers together from A to Z, enabling rapid deployment, controlled investment and services that create tangible value for people, enterprises and public institutions.

01

Access

Extend high-performance 5G connectivity to urban, rural and underserved communities through architectures designed around local economics.

02

Capability

Connect users to artificial intelligence, education, administrative services, enterprise tools and the digital resources needed to organise and improve their activity.

03

Growth

Help entrepreneurs, farmers, artisans and SMEs make their work visible, optimise production and accounting, and reach new customers through effective digital go-to-market channels.

SK Technology coordinates the end-to-end proposition. KLEOS radio solutions are presented through SK Technology’s official distribution relationship; cloud core, international connectivity, terminals and other specialised services are supplied or operated by selected external partners under the agreements applicable to each project.
